Security Guard Mobile Surveillance
EBN Security Services is a well-known name in Central-West Brabant. One of EBN’s oldest and best-known services is mobile surveillance. This consists of many components, including preventative security, alarm response, and business opening and closing.
We are looking for a motivated and independent colleague for our mobile surveillance team.
We are looking for a motivated and independent colleague for our mobile surveillance team.
As a mobile security guard, you are responsible for implementing opening and closing routes at companies and/or premises, following up on alarms, preventative surveillance routes, or any reception services (upon opening).
In this role, you’ll take responsibility for our clients’ property and play a key role in preventative security. You’re uniquely skilled at assessing unsafe or undesirable situations and act decisively and professionally to prevent or eliminate them.
What does a day in the life of a Mobile Surveillance Officer look like?
You’ll start your day with a day shift (6:15 AM – 2:45 PM) at the head office or an EBN support center. You’ll arrive in time to grab a cup of coffee. Meanwhile, you’ll gather your things and know the route planned for you today.
You’ll be assigned a patrol car, which you’ll use for the day. First, you’ll check the car for enough oil, windshield washer fluid, etc., and whether it’s sufficiently charged (we drive electric vehicles). Then, you’ll start your shift. Today, your shift begins in the municipality of Moerdijk, where you’ll have an opening shift at the town hall. This means you’ll open the town hall and manage the reception until the town hall receptionist takes over. You’ll then drive back to our head office to provide central support, pick up or drop off keys for businesses, perform checks on our EBN cars, and perform other tasks.
At 11:00 AM, drive towards Breda’s city center and close the barriers. Once you’ve done this, it’s time for lunch, assuming no alarm notification comes in. Otherwise, you’ll be on your way there. No two days are the same.
After lunch, you’ll start with a site inspection, and once that’s completed, you’ll drive back to EBN’s headquarters to support the plant, if you have time, until your shift is over.
If you work evening, night, or weekend shifts, you’ll naturally have different duties and responsibilities. This gives you plenty of variety in your work.
